Ruili Meilian Braking Technology (Langfang) Co., Ltd. has achieved significant production efficiency improvement by reducing the assembly time of automotive air compressors from 2 minutes to 1 minute through digital transformation.
The company's predecessor was an old manufacturing plant that began in 1969, and in May 2016, it was restructured and established as Ruili Meilian. Before the joint venture, the company's air compressor production was already in a loss making situation. After the transformation, the company invested over 110 million yuan in intelligent upgrades and achieved highly automated production through robots and robotic arms.
Through digital transformation, the daily production capacity of the enterprise has increased from 2700 units to a peak of 5000 units. At present, Ruili Meilian has an annual production capacity of 1.6 million units of various types of air compressors, making it the largest production base for automotive air compressors in China. In 2023, the company will produce and sell 770000 air compressors, with a market share of over 40% in the same industry.
The company is currently constructing the second phase of the new energy air compressor project, with a total investment of 550 million yuan, and will establish an A-level automotive air compressor technology research and development center. After the project is put into operation, it is expected that the annual production of air compressors will reach 2.9 million units, with an annual operating income of over 1.5 billion yuan, further consolidating its leading position in the industry.
